JazzWerkstatt Wien


we were very happy to receive the Fair Music Award!

From the very beginning we wanted our music to be heard by as many people as possible. Our intention was to not play and experiment in front of a specialist audience and other fellow musicians, but to create an own infrastructure, a "JazzWerkstatt" [in English: jazz workshop] that also attracts a genre-untypical audience.

A fair music life? Quite our cup of coffee!

Just as soon as the term fairness is applied to the harvesting and consumption of coffee, it is in danger of being appropriated and devalued by advertising and marketing departments. Therefore, it is high time to apply the concept of fairness to the music industry in order to formulate some new ideas.
